Wednesday, July 1

Morning

Early arrivals welcome at Matt and Lorelei’s house, 735 W. Sagefield Dr, Smyrna – they will be home!

Late Afternoon

Welcome festivities at Matt and Lorelei’s house, 735 W. Sagefield Dr, Smyrna.  Meal should be ready around 6:00 PM.  We’ll have cornhole competition and other yard games available.  Visiting and fellowship until 10 PM.  We do not have the late summer daylight as in the midwest.  Sunset in July is going to be around 8 PM!  The Hilton Garden Inn has a large, open reception area and we are welcome to use that for socializing, and playing games in the evenings.

Thursday, July 2

Morning

Practice rounds for those avid golfers at Old Fort Golf Club, 1028 Golf Lane, Murfreesboro.  Course opens at 7 AM. Currently there are 21 signed up for this event and 4 maybe.  The course is 20 minutes from the Hilton Garden Inn, Smyrna.

Foot Golf competition at Smyrna Golf Course.  There are 18 people signed up for this event, most in the “maybe” category!  Regular $11, Juniors and Seniors $8, Ball Rental $3.  We’re open to changing to disc golf (free) especially since several people have said they will bring their equipment.  We’ll iron it out at Matt’s on Wednesday night.

Non-golfers have their choice of several day trip options: There are Civil War sites to visit in Franklin, Murfreesboro, and Nashville. Some examples: The Parthenon in Nashville or Bicentennial Mall State Park.

Lunch

Lunch will be available at Matt and Lorelei’s.

Late Afternoon

Theresa’s Birthday party! Supper at Hilltop-Rosenwald Park, Smyrna, 565 Mason Tucker Dr, Smyrna, TN. A Mexican menu meal will be served around 6 PM.  There are basketball courts, pickleball courts, and a plethora of swings and slides for the kids.  After supper we’ll play Bingo.

The Smyrna Fireworks should start around 9 PM on Thursday.

Friday, July 3

Morning

Golf competition at Old Fort Golf Club, 1028 Golf Lane, Murfreesboro.  There are 25 golfers signed up along with 8 maybe golfers.  Non-golfers are welcome to hang out in the club house or check out the Cannonsburgh Village which is close by.  There are thrift stores, antique malls, antebellum houses to tour, Stones River National Battlefield, Discovery Center at Murfree Spring all in Murfreesboro.

Lunch

Lunch will be available at Matt and Lorelei’s.

Late Afternoon

5:00 PM set up for the banquet event at St. Luke Catholic Church,10682 Old Nashville Hwy, Smyrna.  Once again the meal will be served around 6 PM followed by trophy presentations. We’ll have a photo show of prior events in Rausch family history during the meal.
